The Wall Street Journal has a piece that throughly debunks Kerry’s line about the US letting Osama get away at Tora Bora. One of the most infuriating things is that Bush never once just stood up and said that Kerry was lying through his teeth. The Tora Bora charge was both incendiary and completely wrong, and you never let something like that go unanswered. The fact that Bush didn’t absolutely nail Kerry on that ridiculous assertion is one of the most notable ommissions of all three debates.
