Howard Dean is once again illustrating why the Democrats are the party of playground insults.
There are times that I wonder if Dean isn’t an GOP plant — that kind of infantile name-calling is exactly the sort of thing that alienates voters by the dozens.
Only a Republican could write a blog entry, with a perfectly straight face, headlined “Chairman Windbag” and then proceed to say how the opposition party is “the party of playground insults.”
Mark is right. It’s unfair to accuse the democrats broadly of being the party of playground insults. They’re worse. Kill Bush t-hirts and bumper stickers. “I hate republicans”, “Republicans are evil”, simulated assassinations of President Bush on Air America (again today on Randi Rhodes show), anything said by Ted Kennedy, yada, yada, yada.
Nothing “playground” about comments like this.
