Author John Scalzi notes that even on Amazon, being linked to Glenn Reynolds is good for you – which provides some interesting anecdotal evidence for the theory of The Long Tail.
As an aside, if you haven’t read Scalzi’s book Old Man’s War it’s one of the best pieces of military sci-fi around, a great novel in the spirit of Robert A. Heinlein with all the trappings you’d expect of the genre. The sequel The Ghost Brigades comes out next month, which also looks promising.
