The American Spirit

Stephen A. Ambrose (author of such excellent books as Undaunted Courage and Band of Brothers) writes an eloquent reminder of what the American spirit can do. He’s dead-on right. Tell that to the people who think that America is a weak nation. Tell that to Edward Said, Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore, and Jerry Falwell. America has produced the greatest legacy of freedom and democracy ever. We will do it again.
