James Lileks has a deep and thoughtful
response to an Islamic bulletin board filled with anti-Jew rhetoric. There are posts on that board that would make even the most hardcore member of the Aryan Nation blush.
Islam may be a religion of peace and toleration for some, but I fear that they are a small minority in the Muslim community these days. The prevailing attitude that seems to be coming from most Muslim sources is one in which the Jews must die, and all the world must be bent to their one ideology. As much as I’ve wanted to believe that this war should not be against Islam, if this is where the majority of the Muslim faith want to take their religion, then it is the job of both Muslim moderates and the rest of the world to oppose them.
