Paglia On Israel

Camille Paglia, who is subbing for Andrew Sullivan
has an excellent piece on the moral foundations for supporting Israel. While I rarely agree on a lot of her viewpoints, this piece is undeniably brilliant. It is clear that the Palestinians, even if they do have a legitimate case against Israel, they cannot be appeased now that they’ve gone down the path of terrorism. Even those who disagree with the Israeli settlements in the West Bank and other policies of the Israeli government should not assume that the mistakes of Israel justify Palestinian terror. Nothing can morally justify the bombing of innocent civilians, no matter how seemingly noble the cause.
