Dick Cheney’s defemse
of preemption in regards to Iraq is making big headlines today. It’s good to know that Cheney is out there, making the case for what needs to be done. Cheney’s always been a very forthright speaker, and he’s clearly stated what’s wrong with Europe’s wait-and-see appeasement: if Saddam is a threat now, and he most certainly is, we cannot afford to wait until he gains power to take him out.
