As the Saudi Prince Bandar is at the Western White House with Bush, the Administration is reaffirming their commitment to Saudi Arabia. I hope that’s just diplomatic talk. What I hope is going on in Crawford is the President telling the Saudis that if they make any move while we hit Iraq they get a first-class ticket on the Regime Change Express.
At least Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice don’t seem to be very eager to play kiss-ass with the House of Saud. I can forgive the President for saying "nice doggie" to the Saudis, but only if he has a very large rock behind him, and he reminds them that he’s not afraid to use it.
