The Twins did quite well in this first game of the American League Championship Series with some great fieldwork and some solid hits. Pitcher Joe Mays went through nearly the entire game with some world-class pitching. If they can keep this up we Minnesotans may have to get out some new World Series Homer Hankies…
(Also I heard the great comment that the last time there had been so many white cloths waving in one place was in France…)
