Collision Detection proves that I was right never to buy used textbooks with highlighting in them. Nine out of ten of them had stuff that was either irrelevent or inexplicable highlighted, or notes in the margins that proves that the previous owner was an idiot. Luckily there were always a few that were in decent shape.
Come to think of it, I should sell off one of my five copies of John Locke’s Second Treatise of Government… but only after highlight the most irrelevent passages I can find and adding cryptic or stupid notes in the margins…
