The murder of five Israelis including two young children has led the Israeli government to promise retribution. Even the Palestinians are starting to back away from the attack, instigated by the Al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade.
With the new leadership in Israel, the Palestinians cannot count on only light responses after terrorist attacks. Between Benjamin Netanyahu and Shaul Mofaz, the new leadership of Israel will not tolerate further acts of terrorism. Expect the response to this attack to be swift and severe.
