The Media Research Council has a piece on how Democrats are now saying the media is biased against them. First of all, with the vast majority of people in the media identifying themselves as Democrats, this seems a bit hard to swallow. Especially considering that virtually anyone can see the way in which conservatives are labeled more the liberals.
This notion that the media somehow has this pro-Bush conservative bias would be laughable if it weren’t taken so seriously. If the Democrats are to believe the same media that constantly gives Democrats a free pass and demonizes Republicans has suddenly become a tool of the GOP they’ve got a lot of work ahead of them.
You know, I’ve been wondering about this for a while… hell, look at the way the “liberal” media skewered Bill Clinton in the 90’s. Then again, I think that the problem was that the man was too liberal for the Republican establishment, and too conservative for the Liberal Media- and what a strange alliance they made for in taking them down…
