NORAD is scrambling to identify the source of a mysterious jet contrail stretching from the Carribean to the Midwest.
There have been rumors about a secret hypersonic spy aircraft called "Aurora" since the late 80’s/early 90’s that was said to be the successor to the U-2 and SR-71 spyplanes. No real evidence has been confirmed that this aircraft exists, but there have been eyewitness accounts of mysterious aircraft, sonic booms, and contrails from the US to Scotland. Given the kind of secrecy that would surround such an aircraft, this mystery contrail could have something to do with that aircraft.
