The Washington Post has an interesting article on how massively multiplayer online games may give us new insight into the War on Terror.
Either that or we can airdrop PCs, satellite broadband connections, and copies of Everquest into tribal areas of Pakistan. That way al-Qaeda members will be so busy slaying creatures and trying to hit on that elf chick they won’t have time to plot terrorist activities… or at least that’s the way it seems based upon everyone else who plays that game.
