Satan On Ice

I find it somewhat amusing that Satan is the NHL’s Player of the Week:

Satan, tied with Chris Gratton for the team lead with 21 points, also posted a plus-5 rating in helping the Sabres to their first three-game winning streak of the season.

Satan’s best game of the week came Friday when he tallied his fourth career hat trick in a 4-1 victory over the New York Rangers.

Strange, I always thought Satan’s best game was the invention of call waiting…

(OK, so it isn’t really the Prince of Darkness who was named the NHL’s Player of the Week, but Buffalo Sabre’s Left Wing Miroslav Satan)

UPDATE: And whoa, I realized that the link to his player profile contains the number 666… that just can’t be coincidence…

  1. I had no idea Satan was a Slovak. It must suck to be the Czechs, because you know as any good Slovak with ethnic pride, Satan will take them to hell first. Oh wait.. the Czechs are the most atheist population in Europe.. okay then, the bastards deserve it.
