Ye Olde Blogge

A historian is turning the diary of Samuel Pepys into a blog. Pepys was a 17th Century British writer who chronicled such events as the Great Fire of London as well as offered interesting social commentary about the figures and events of his time. The project will take ten years to complete, but the blog offers the usual tools such as Trackback and comments/annotations.

I remember someone doing a blog based on the life of Caesar – perhaps this might start a series of historically-oriented blogs. It certainly is one of the more interesting adaptations of blogging technology that I’ve seen.
