The final design for the new World Trade Center complex has been chosen. While it isn’t quite the noble structure I might have liked, I have to admit that it isn’t all that bad of a design. I have to admit that having a 1,776 foot tower (the tallest in the world) in the complex appeals in a number of ways.
It’s not exactly what I would have picked, but it’s a great design, nonetheless. (Of course, a 1776 ft tower still won’t beat the monstrosity the Chinese are building in Shanghai… 🙂 )
