The government of Iraq has said that it agrees "in principle" to destroy its banned al-Samoud 2 missiles. In other words, they will convene a committee to work with a UN committee to form the guidelines for a committee on maybe destroying the missiles sometimes after next Tuesday. Or more bluntly, they’re stalling for time.
Then again, the United States has also agreed "in principle" not to kick Saddam squarely in the ass. We’ll see which principle holds out the longest…
