More Cuban Oppression

Courts in Cuba have begun a spree of convictions of dissidents, librarians, and others who are being accused of "subversion".

The same Castro responsible for these kangaroo courts is the one that American celebrities treat as a revolutionary hero.

I have scarce little tolerance for totalitarianism and equally little tolerance for people who wear their freedom of speech as a badge of honor and a sacred right then coddle tyrants like Hussein and Castro.

Fidel Castro is a man who cares absolutely nothing for the concepts of individual liberty or human rights and everything about his own wealth and power. He is not a revolutionary hero, nor a wise man, nor one worthy of adulation of any kind. He is a tyrant, a dictator, and likely a mass-murderer. Why so many refuse to acknowledge such facts is beyond me.

  1. I have scarce little tolerance for people who delegate their moralizing about overthrowing repressive dictators to regimes where America has a political interest in doing so…and letting the rest be oppressed for the rest of eternity as long as they have less to offer the US than what they perceive the risk to be.

What do Liberia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and China have in common? All are brutally oppressive regimes who benefit Republicans most when ignored.

What do Iraq and Cuba have in common? Both are brutally oppressive regimes who benefit Republicans most when exploited for political and economic gain.
