While I normally eschew celebrity news, it appears as though Aussie actress Nicole Kidman is ditching Scientology along with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. (Who deserves an award for being Clod of the Millennium for dumping her, but that’s besides the point.)
Good for her.
Scientologists are hilarious. I once applied for a job at a scientology org… between the ludicrous videos and the questions on the application (Have you ever had sexual relations with a farm animal? Have you ever had electrical shock therapy? How many times? Have you ever masturbated in a public place?), not to mention the IQ test (which concluded that I had an IQ of 74 and a “reactivity” rating of -70%, which indicated that I was in extreme danger of committing suicide within the next three months), I found the Rondroids to be highly amusing.
And need we even mention Battlefield Earth… (shiver)
