Winning The War On Terror

Despite criticisms of the Bush Administration’s "war on terror", 2002 saw fewer acts of terrorism than any time in over 30 years. According to State Department figures in 2001 there were 355 acts of terrorism including the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks. In 2002 this number had dropped to 1999.

The Bush Administration’s hardline on terrorism is paying off. By hunting down and eliminating terrorist support networks, financial links, and the terrorists themselves, the number of attacks has been reduced. As they say, there’s no better defense than a strong offense.
