Bill Hobbs finds that Kerry outright stated that he wanted to cancel the weapons that helped us win in Afghanistan and Iraq. There’s no way this can be spun, during the darkest days of the Cold War, Kerry voted against systems like the F-14, the F-15, the Aegis cruiser, Patriot missiles, and the B-1 bomber.
He was wrong then, and he’s wrong now.
One sad aspect is that so much of the liberal media ignores this, and buys into the Kerry spin on this matter.
Again, the liberal media covers up for Kerry.
Since when is 1984 ‘the darkest days of the Cold War’?
Because we knew that if Soviet tanks started rolling down the Fulda Gap, we’d lose Western Europe.
Because a KAL 747 was just shot down by the Russians.
Because glastnost and perestroika were years away.
I could go on, but you get the point.
There’s no way this can be spun, during the darkest days of the Cold War, Kerry voted against systems like the F-14, the F-15, the Aegis cruiser, Patriot missiles, and the B-1 bomber.
Oh, you mean like Cheney did?
Of course, Kerry did vote for these weapon systems for almost 14 years running; I guess that doesn’t count, though, huh?
