Glenn Reynolds has some images from yesterday’s rally for an end to the genocide in Darfur. The Bush Administration should make this a priority – Bush’s Africa policy is light-years ahead of previous administrations, but allowing Darfur to become the next Rwanda will only further destabilize the region. In a war against Islamofascism, Darfur is certainly one of the battlefields where we should be engaging the enemy.
Where is the UN? How can they just sit by and say you really should not allow that to go on, but if you do, we guess it’s okay. Always, if anything is done, it will be the US doing it. I am so disgusted with the UN. They sit in their posh offices and do nothing.
They don’t just sit in their offices. They have parties and spend time receiving bribes.
It’s not the UN’s fault if no country ask for it to be put on the agenda!
