There was an excellent election ad from one of the Iraqi coalitions showing a group of Iraqis standing up to the terrorists — it looks like the message of that ad is being taken to heart. What’s more important is that the grip of fear that drives the insurgency is collapsing — the people of Iraq have shown a willingness to stand against those who would destroy their fledgling state.
In the end, this battle for Iraq won’t be decided by us, it will be decided by the Iraqis, and thankfully the people of Iraq are winning against the terrorists who would murder them and ravage their country.
