Hamas has claimed responsibility for a deliberate and planned attack on innocent Israeli civilians. A bus containing Israeli civilians was bombed, and then the survivors were shot at as they tried to leave. Killed in the vicious attack was a two-year-old child.
This was an act of unmitigated barbarism. This was an act of war against the Israeli people. The kind of sheer heartlessness and hatred needed to kill wounded civilians as they tried to escape that bus is simply beyond any comprehension. Unfortunately, as long as there are people willing to commit these acts of terror, peace between Israel and the Palestinians will be impossible, as will be any hope of a Palestinian state.
