Of course, the real reason is- DUH- that if he doesn’t let a few inspectors back in, we’re going to force him to admit 350,000 American soldiers, whether he likes it or not. This way he can hold on to his little regime for a few months more- at least until he can come up with a good hiding place when a few airborne divisions pound down his door. 🙂
