The US Air Force and Boeing have unveiled the Bird of Prey, a formerly super-secret spy aircraft that has now been unveiled to the public. It’s impressive as hell to look at, and is designed to be stealthy even in daylight.
Like it’s fictional counterpart on Star Trek, the Bird of Prey has a kind of "cloaking device" that minimizes its observatability even in daylight by hiding shadows and blending in with its environment.
While this particular aircraft is only a testbed for stealth technologies, one wonders if its bigger cousins aren’t preparing to make Saddam Hussein’s life a lot more difficult – without ever being seen.
