Tacitus has an interesting piece on more evidence of how the left can hardly contain its loathing for Republicans and conservatives in general. The left has truly bought into the idea that the right cares more about their stock options than dealing with the poor and the downtrodden. This fundamental inability to even grasp the most basic tenets of the opposition is one of the primary reasons why the Democrats lost this election. Yet they continue to grasp ahold of the ideological strawmen like a security blanket rather than deal with the fact that their tax-and-spend redistribution plans have failed and they’ve no new ideas to replace them.

Now, to denounce the hypocrisy of the left after accusing them of this is comical. I don’t have enough fingers to count all the straw men I’ve seen pundits on the right set up in the name of promoting their agenda.
