That has got to be the most singularly idiotic thing ever said. Then again, one of the biggest criticisms of the US from the Middle East is that our popular culture is an insipid, valueless wasteland that offers nothing but mindless and soulless dreck. That would mean that if we wanted to avoid having enemies, people like Sheryl Crow should be publicly stoned (and not in the way likely was one making her idiotic comment) for showing her face in public. In fact, should Ms. Crow decide to leave the pot-permeated confines of her tour bus and actually see what people in the Middle East were saying about her ilk, she’d likely be singing a different tune before long.
She truly sounded and acted like an idiot!
